Ban on Co-Disposal of Hazardous and Non-Hazardous Waste: The Implications for Farmers

The Agricultural Waste Stakeholder Forum in association with the National Farmers' Union has produced guidance on the implications of the banned co-disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste.

Forthcoming regulations, expected to come into force early 2005, will class agricultural waste as controlled waste meaning that controls will be placed on the management, storage, recycling, recovery and disposal of agricultural waste.
